This is a garden for a quirky, modern inner city duplex with two large main landscaped courtyards divided by a walled drive. Lime trees were espaliered in fans on stainless balustrades; this was repeated in both properties to provide a common theme.
An ornamental grape sprawls over the steel work, spanning the common driveway, softening the façade and entrances. Pleached Ficus screens the neighboring flats and defines the perimeter of the space. These gardens were treated as a simple extension to the living areas.
